About Veg Chowmein Recipe

Chowmin is a stir fried is very popular breakfast dish. Often we use chicken to make chicken chowmin, egg to make egg chowmin and mix vegetable to make veg chowmin.

Veg Chowmein

Ingredients to make Veg Chowmein

  • to make noodles
  • whole wheat noodles packet 200 grams
  • water 1 litre
  • salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • White oil 2 table spoon
  • vegetables we need
  • chopped potato 1 cup
  • chopped carrot 1 cup
  • chopped beans 1 cup
  • green pea 1/2 cup
  • chopped cauliflower 1 cup
  • Other ingredients
  • chopped ginger 1 tablespoon
  • chopped green chilli 1 tablespoon
  • salt as per taste
  • soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • roasted cumin powder 1 tablespoon
  • white oil as needed

How to make Veg Chowmein

  1. cook noodles according to the package instruction.
  2. drain the excess water and rinse in running water.
  3. now toss the noodle with salt and white oil. keep aside
  4. in a big Pan hit enough white oil.
  5. fry all veggies including ginger and green chili.
  6. add salt, cumin powder and soya sauce.
  7. after mixing all ingredients very well and cooked noodles.
  8. stair gently in low flame.
  9. turn off flame and serve hot with cucumber and tomato sauce.

My Tip:

* do not over cook noodles. ** You can also use onion if you want.
