ABOUT Sarvapindi RECIPE

You can call it a crispy rice flour roti which can be a perfect combination with tea.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice Flour 2 cups
  2. Toasted groundnuts handful
  3. Soaked chanadal 2 spoons
  4. Sesame seeds 1 spoon
  5. Ajwain 1/2 spoon
  6. Jeera 1/2 spoon
  7. Fresh coconut and green chilli ground together 1/2 cup
  8. Garlic cloves peeled and crushed 5
  9. Curry Leaves handful
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Onions 2 medium sized
  12. Boiled water as reqd

Instructions

  1. Take a wide bowl and add thinly sliced onions into it with some salt.
  2. Then add roasted groundnut ssoaked chana daLcurry leaves and all other ingredients as mentioned in ingredients.
  3. Mix with hands thoroughly and then knead into a dough by adding hot water.
  4. Take a hollow non stick pan and add 2 spoons oil to it and with hand spread the oil nicely.
  5. Take a big ball of dough and just press it on the pan with hands like a roti completely it should stick to the pan.
  6. With your fingers make 3 to 4 holes and pour oil into the holes.
  7. Now place the pan on stove and let it cook on high flame for 4 min and then simmer it with lid open.
  8. You can see light brown color forming on lower side and oil coming out on the sides when its done and you can the crispiness.
  9. Turn it upside down and switch of the flame. Its ready!
