Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mango 2 kg
  2. kala chana 200 gm
  3. Yellow mustard seeds 4 tablespoons
  4. Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
  5. Mangrail 1 teaspoon
  6. Fennel seeds 2 teaspoons
  7. Asafoetida 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Turmeric powder 2 tablespoon
  9. Mustard oil 1 cup
  10. Salt to taste


  1. Wash the mangoes and let it dry.
  2. Peel the mangoes.
  3. Once peeled, grate it well.
  4. Mix it well with salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida and keep it in sun for 2 days.
  5. Keep Chana in wet cloth for 2 hours then mix in mango and keep it whole day.
  6. Dry roast all the spices and then roughly make powder.
  7. Add oil and spices powder and store it in a jar
  8. Cover the jar and keep in shed.
