Lemon Chicken

Ingredients to make Lemon Chicken

  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 1 tsp of ground black pepper
  • juice of two lemons
  • 75 gm butter
  • salt as per taste (be careful about salt if using salted butter)
  • Sliced green chillies and ginger (for garnishing)

How to make Lemon Chicken

  1. Take pressure cooker, add butter and heat it. Make sure it doesn't burn.
  2. Add chicken, stir it on medium heat for 5- 8 minutes (until raw smell goes).
  3. Now add black pepper, salt and lemon juice and stir it for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Close the lid. After one whistle, lower the flame and give one more whistle. Let the pressure release.
  5. Now garnish it with ginger and green chillies.

I make Parsi chicken like this, only difference is that I boil the chicken first in the pressure cooker ,with a little salt and without water. tastes great. Other ingredients are exactly the same
