Chicken Dragon

Ingredients to make Chicken Dragon

  • chicken 500 gms
  • curd 1/2 cup
  • cashew nuts 10-15
  • peanuts 2 tbsp
  • honey 1 tsp
  • cornflour 1 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1tsp
  • vinegar 1/2tsp
  • red chilly sauce 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil 1 tbsp+for frying
  • green chilly slit 5-6
  • spring onion 1/2 bunch

How to make Chicken Dragon

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, corn flour, curd and green chilly powder for about 1/2 an hour.
  2. Grind the cashew nuts and the peanuts separately.
  3. In a pan heat oil and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown in color.
  4. Keep the chicken pieces aside.
  5. Heat oil, add slit green chilli, green onion (not the leafy part). Then add the ground peanut and the cashew nut, cook till you get a nice aroma.
  6. Now add all the sauces, honey and the fried chicken. Saute on high for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with spring onion leaves and coriander.

My Tip:

Do not overcook the chicken else it will become hard.
