ABOUT Cookie Butter Cups RECIPE

Creamy, chocolatey and filled with cookie butter goodness! You seriously won't believe just how easy these cookie butter cups are to make! Cookie Butter only take 5 minutes to make AND you need just 3 ingredients Cookies, Butter and Evaporated Milk. Blend those ingredients all together and what you are left with is a smooth cookie spread that can be used in a multitude of desserts, or just eaten straight off the spoon. The beauty of cookie butter is that you can get really creative and use it in so many different desserts: cheesecake, milkshakes, fudge, sundaes and so on.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For cookie butter:
  2. 2 and 1/4 cups (280 gm) Oreos cookie crumbs (30 Oreos roughly)
  3. 1/4 cup, stick (60 gm) butter
  4. 1/4 cup (128 gm) evaporated milk
  5. Pinch of salt
  6. For cookie butter cups:
  7. 100 gm Oreo cookie butter
  8. 100 gm white chocolate

Instructions

  1. For cookie butter:
  2. Remove the filling in your cookies In a food processor pulse your cookies until they resemble fine crumbs.
  3. Add in your melted butter and evaporated milk and pulse until it comes together.
  4. If your butter is thin, add more cookie crumbs as you want it thick.
  5. Store in a jar for up to 6 weeks in the fridge.
  6. For Cookie Butter Cups:
  7. Melt your chocolate chips in a separate heatproof, microwaveable bowl. Spoon some melted chocolate into each cupcake liner.
  8. Spread the chocolate evenly in cupcake liner. Place these cups in fridge to set.
  9. When it is set, add cookie butter and flatten it lightly.
  10. Pour remaining chocolate over the top. To create an even top gently shake the pan on a flat surface or tap.
  11. Place the cookie butter cups into the refrigerator to chill for 15-20 mins or until the cups are set. Eat cold or bring to room temperature.
