ABOUT Mutter ki Kachori ( with my twist) RECIPE

Green peas comes usually in winters and we wait for this season. Green peas Kachori is a wonderful treat to yourself.. specially if made in a slight healthy way. Usually its dough is of maida, but here ihave used jowar flour and wheat flour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Jowar atta 3/4 cup
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Green peas 2 cups boiled
  4. Oil for frying
  5. Ginger 1 inch piece
  6. Green chillies 2-3
  7. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Coriander powder 1 tablespoon
  9. Amchur 1 teaspoon
  10. hing pinch
  11. black cardamom 2
  12. Cinnamon 2-3 pieces
  13. Black pepper whole 7-8
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. For stuffing
  2. 1. Take a teaspoon of oil in a kadai, add the peas green chillies and ginger.
  3. 2. Add all the dry masalas and crushed whole garam masala.
  4. 3. Add salt and stir on high flame till the water dries up.
  5. 4. Grind it in mixer jar to fine paste.
  6. 5. This takes time .
  7. For Kachori dough
  8. 1. Take jowar and wheat flour and add salt a teaspoon of oil and make a stiff dough.
  9. 2. Stuff the Kachori and deep fry them on medium flame till golden brown in colour.
  10. 3. I have served with tomato kishmish chutney and green chutney.
