Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Koi fish - 3
  2. Cooking oil -3 tblspn
  3. Cinnamon sticks - 1
  4. Green Cardamom - 2
  5. Onion paste - 1tblspn
  6. Ginger-garlic paste - 1tblspn
  7. Green chilli paste - 1/2tspn
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
  9. Sugar -1/2 tspn
  10. Salt asper taste
  11. Fresh orange juice - 1cup

Instructions

  1. Add turmeric and salt to fish and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Add oil to heated pan, let the fish fry over hot oil.
  3. Fry them till it's light golden brown and keep them aside in a bowl.
  4. Add some more oil to the pan and then add cinnamon sticks and cardamom, after few seconds add onion paste and cook it for few seconds.
  5. Then add ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and fry till the raw smell is gone.
  6. Then add Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix them very well.
  7. Add salt and sugar, fry the mashala till the oil seperate.
  8. Now add 2tbldpn water let it boil for 3 to 4minutes.
  9. Now put the fried fish into the cooking pan and cover it for 2 minutes.
  10. Now add orange juice to it in low flame. Do not boil. Add sliced green chillies.
  11. Koi Komola is ready to served with hot rice.
