Malka Masoor daal

Ingredients to make Malka Masoor daal

  • 150 gram moong dhuli dal
  • 150 gram Malika dhuli dal
  • half teaspoon salt
  • half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • one teaspoon red Kashmiri mirch powder
  • half teaspoon Moti Kutty red chilli powder
  • 4 tbsp desi ghee
  • one teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/4teaspoon Garam masala
  • finally talked to tbsp green coriander leaves

How to make Malka Masoor daal

  1. First of all clean and wash both pulses and soak them in water for 10 minutes.
  2. then switch on gas and put keep pressure cooker on it and put both both pulses and all spices except garam- masala and Kashmiri red chilly powder with 1-1/2 glass of water.
  3. Close the lid with whistle on it and let 2 whistles blowout.
  4. then open the lid after steam release after steam releases open the lid and mix it with big ladle.
  5. Now keep pan on flame put Desi Ghee when it melts then put Cumin seeds in it. After 2/2 a minute then put garam- masala, red Kashmiri mirch and chopped corriander leaves and then mix it in cooked pulses.

My Tip:

Switch off flame when we put Kashmiri mirch in it. Otherwise it will burn, beauty and colour will vanish.
