ABOUT Watermelon Twist RECIPE

I have made this as my kids were bored of eating watermelon. The taste is awesome.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 watermelon
  2. 1/2 tin condensed milk
  3. 2 tsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp gelatin

Instructions

  1. Cut watermelon in pieces, remove all the seeds.
  2. Blend and make juice of half of the watermelon. Strain and keep aside.
  3. Dissolve the gelatin powder in a little hot water and dissolve in the watermelon juice.
  4. Pour in the wineglass or bowl and keep in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  5. While it sets, take the remaining pieces of watermelon and put in a pan with sugar. Saute till it changes color and the sugar melts. Press the chunks with a ladle and keep aside to cool.
  6. Bring the set glasses out, add condensed milk and put the chunks on it and chill again. Serve chilled.
