Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled rice 1 cup
  2. Chana dal 2 tablespoons
  3. Peas Dal 2 tablespoons
  4. Tomato powder one tablespoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
  6. Jeera powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Chat masala 1 teaspoon
  8. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Pepper powder 1 by 4 teaspoon
  10. Salt half teaspoon
  11. Black salt half teaspoon
  12. Onion paste for tablespoon
  13. Oil to tbsp
  14. Corn flour 3 tablespoons
  15. Water 6 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak rice and dals overnight
  2. In a cooker and soft mixture without water
  3. Add all the ingredients except cornflour in the cooker
  4. Add water also in the cooker
  5. Cook in high flame till 6 whistles
  6. Mash well the cooked items
  7. Heat a kadai and put the mashed mixture into it
  8. Cook till it becomes dry
  9. Add cornflour and cook for 2 more minutes
  10. In a idiyaappam maker fill the dough and make small stick like shape
  11. Keep it in sunlight till one week
  12. Deep fry it and sprinkle some chat masala over it
