ABOUT Tomato Chutney RECIPE

Spicy chutney is a side dish for breakfast like idli dosa.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Onion small 6 (or) big 2
  2. Tomato 2
  3. Red chilli 3 (You can add more for spiciness)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Oil 3 tsp


  1. Cut onion and tomato into medium sized cubes.
  2. Heat the pan with 1 tsp oil, add red chilli once it gets dark colour, add onions, tomatoes and add salt in that mixer. Heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Allow it cool for 10 minutes.
  4. Put all ingredients in a mixer blender and grind it well.
  5. If you like you can add gingely oil in this chutney also.

I love having condiments, fresher the better. This tomato chutney is going to go really well with my breakfast paranthas and plain idlis.
