Kadhai Paneer

Ingredients to make Kadhai Paneer

  • paneer 200 gms
  • 1 -2 onions
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 capsicum
  • salt to taste
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Haldi/turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • Dhaniya masala/ Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Kichen King masala 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tomato, puree

How to make Kadhai Paneer

  1. Cut the paneer into pieces and put in warm water so that the paneer doesn't break.
  2. Wash and cut all the vegetables into slices. Keep aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan, add jeera and ginger garlic paste. Saute it for a few minutes.
  4. Add chopped onions and saute. Next add tomato puree and saute for a few minutes.
  5. Add salt and haldi/turmeric powder and cook for a few minutes.
  6. Then add sliced onions and capsicum, cook till they are tender but not completely cooked.
  7. Add garam masala, kitchen king masala, red chilli powder and dhaniya powder. Cook till the gravy leaves the oil in the pan.
  8. Add the paneer and cook for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish with kesuri methi and serve it hot.
