ABOUT Chocolate Orange Tart RECIPE

This delicious Chocolate orange tart is made with oats,almond flour and cocoa powder.Tart is filled with eggless curd filling and topped with fresh orange slice's.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for preparing chocolate trust:-
  2. Oats flour 1 cup
  3. Almond flour 1Cup
  4. Cocoa powder 1/4 Cup
  5. Honey 1/4 cup
  6. Coconut oil 3Tbsp melted
  7. Salt 1/4 Tsp
  8. Ingredients for preparing orange curd:-
  9. Fresh orange juice 1Cup
  10. Milk 3/4 Cup
  11. Cornstarch 4Tbsp
  12. Honey 1/4 Cup
  13. Zest of one orange
  14. Ingredients for garnishing:-
  15. Orange slices of 1orange
  16. Cocoa powder 1-2Tsp

Instructions

  1. Steps for preparing chocolate tart:-
  2. Preheat oven at 180℃ for 10 minutes.
  3. Take a 9" tart pan with a removable bottom, grease it with little oil and keep aside.
  4. In a bowl add oats flour,almond flour and coca powder mix the ingredients properly.
  5. After mixing flours add honey,melted coconut oil and salt.Mix until dough is well mixed.
  6. Transfer the dough into the prepared tart pan and use your fingers to press it firmly into the pan.
  7. Distribute the dough evenly, if the dough sticks to fingers, dip your fingers in water and spread dough.
  8. Place the tart pan in the oven and bake for 12 minutes.
  9. Remove the baked crust from the oven and let it cool to room temperature before filling.
  10. Steps for preparing orange curd:-
  11. In a small pan, over low heat reduce the orange juice to half quantity.
  12. While the juice is reducing, whisk the cornstarch in milk till it dissolves and set aside.
  13. Once the juice is reduced add honey and zest to it,stir well.
  14. Add the milk mixture to the pan and use a spatula to mix.
  15. Keep on low heat and mix constantly until the texture thickens .
  16. Once the mixture is thickened remove from heat and allow to cool for 10 minutes .
  17. Pour the curd into the tart and keep in the fridge to chill.
  18. Before serving arrange orange slices over tart ,sprinkle coca powder and cut into wedges.
