About Kheru / Reeru Recipe

Today i'm sharing Himachali cuisine and delicious dish it's Kheru. So simple and quick recipe is kheru, kheru serve with Steamd rice or paratha.

Kheru / Reeru

Ingredients to make Kheru / Reeru

  • Beaten curd one bowl
  • Chopped onion 3 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder half teaspoon
  • red chilli powder half teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • coriander powder one teaspoon
  • cumin seeds one teaspoon
  • coriander seeds half teaspoon
  • Dry red chilli 2
  • mustard oil to tablespoon

How to make Kheru / Reeru

  1. 1 cup curd and 2 Cup water nicely beaten.
  2. heat a oil in a kadai add cumin seeds, Coriendar seeds, dry red chilli sute for few seconds
  3. add chopped onion and fry light golden brown for few minute
  4. onion some fry then add all masala powder and salt
  5. Saute for few seconds
  6. masala is nicely cooked then add beaten curd
  7. stir and cook for a minute for a low flame
  8. after few minute switch off the flame and ready our kheru.
