Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Green Chillies (Big)- 30- 30
  2. Oil- 3- tbs
  3. Asafoetida- 1- tbs
  4. Fenugreek seeds - 2- tbs
  5. Mustard seeds - 1- tbs
  6. Salt - 1- tbs
  7. Coriander Power- 2- tbs
  8. Dry mango powder- 1- tbs
  9. Milk/buttermilk- 1 - cup
  10. Fennel - 1- tbs
  11. Garlic paste- 1- tbs
  12. Ginger paste- 1- tbs
  13. Turmeric Powder- 1 - tbs

Instructions

  1. Cut green chillies and take out the seeds. pound them lightly until coarse mixture is formed.
  2. Boil fenugreek seeds and wash them in water to reduce its bitter taste or soak them in water overnight.
  3. Take a pan put oil. When oil is hot put mustard seeds and fennel seeds to it. When they start making crackling sound add garlic and ginger paste and saute. Then add turmeric powder and chilli paste to it and saute for a min.
  4. Then add fenugreek seeds and cook for a min and add milk or buttermilk to the paste and saute until mixture turns thick and absorbs all milk.
  5. Then add salt to taste and coriander and mango powder. Cook for few mins and switch off the flame. Your Mirchi ka kuutta is ready to be served. Enjoy . 😊
