Ingredients to make Coconut Bounty Truffles

  • Dessicated fresh coconut 2 cups
  • Condensed milk 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Dark Chocolate 1/2 cup (packed)
  • White Chocolate (optional)
  • butter for greasing
  • Parchment paper

How to make Coconut Bounty Truffles

  1. Chop the dark chocolate and keep aside.
  2. Keep a pan on low heat. Saute the dessicated coconut on it for one minute till you smell a nutty aroma.
  3. Remove from heat. Add vanilla flavor and condensed milk to it and mix well using a wooden spatula.
  4. Grease hand with some butter/ghee and roll out balls from the coconut condensed milk mixture while its still warm.
  5. Keep the balls in refrigerator for 5-10 minutes
  6. Melt chocolate using a double boiler or in microwave.
  7. Now dip the balls in the melted chocolate and keep it on parchment paper. Repeat process till all balls get coated.
  8. Drizzle melted white chocolate (optional)
  9. Refrigerate for 5 minutes

My Tip:

Do not over heat the dessicated coconut else it will burn.
