THAI YOUNG COCONUT JELLY made from tender coconut. I do not think that i would have tried this recepe ever. Thanks to better butter for keeping coconut as the main ingredient and giving me a different direction to try something new. I never knew that one could coconut can be used in so many different ways. A must try Thai desert Coconut jelly is a very simple thai desert which can be prepared in minutes. It is easy to do and can be Serve to everyone in this hot weather. You will be eating Coconut juice and coconut meat/ cream together. And not to forget the cooling properties of coconut water for our body this is a very healthy light and different desert which soothes and nourishes your body within.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 gms meat scraped from coconut
  2. 400 ml coconut water
  3. 1 cup water
  4. 2 tsp agar agar
  5. 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Take young coconut/ tender coconut. Remove the water.
  2. Scrape the meat/ malai from inside the coconut.
  3. Cut it into long thin pieces.
  4. Boil some water.
  5. Add agar agar.
  6. Add sugar.
  7. Finally add coconut juice. Mix well.
  8. Remove from heat and pour into the glass.
  9. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
