ABOUT Khatta Meetha Chutney RECIPE

This is a very easy and delicious recipe and goes with many of the food items such as wada pav, samosa etc. Must try recipe and also you can preserve this chutney upto one week in fridge. This chutney can also be used in Bhel puri and paani puri etc.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Grated Jaggery :: 21/2 cup
  2. Tamarind Pulp :: 2 cups
  3. Saunf/Fennel Seeds :: 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Put the tamarind pulp in a pan and keep the pan on the stove and heat on a low flame.
  2. Mix the Grated Jaggery and let it melt. Bring the mixture to the boil stirring continuously so that jaggery does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  3. Once the mixture starts boiling add Saunf/Fennel seeds and heat the mixture.
  4. Once mixture starts to thicken switch off the flame and serve with any fried item or you can use it for any chaat item.
