Chocolate Raspberry Tart

Ingredients to make Chocolate Raspberry Tart

  • flour 120g
  • Icing sugar 60g
  • butter(chilled) 60g
  • egg 25g
  • Milk 75g
  • sugar 30g
  • egg yolks 2nos
  • Corn flour 25g
  • Dark chocolate 75g
  • Vanilla 1g
  • Raspberry jam

How to make Chocolate Raspberry Tart

  1. Preheat oven ai 180degree c
  2. Mix flour and icing sugar.
  3. Add chilled butter and mix to form a crumbly mixture.
  4. Add in the eggs and mix well.
  5. Once it comes togethet roll it into a sheet and cling wrap it and refrigerate for 2hrs.
  6. After refrigeration roll it out further and cut into the size of your tart molds.
  7. Cover the tart shells evenly and place some baking beans on it and bake at 180 degree c for 20 to 23 mins.
  8. Now to make the chocolate curd take milk and sugar and bring to boil.
  9. Mix cornflour and egg yolks together and mix well so that there are no lumps.
  10. Once the milk starts boiling temper it with the cornflour mixture.
  11. Put it on a double boiler and let it thicken while whisking continuously.
  12. Once its thickened add it to the chopped dark chocolate and mix well.
  13. Cling wrap it touching the surface to avoid skin formation and let it set.
  14. Once its set pipe a layer of it into the tart shell and reftigerate till it sets.
  15. Then pipe a layer of raspberry jam on it and decorate with chocolates.
