Crunchy Poha

Ingredients to make Crunchy Poha

  • Nylon poha (thin poha) - 200 gms
  • coriander seeds 3 tbsp
  • jeera - 1 tbsp
  • mustard - 2 tsp
  • curry leaves - 1 sprig
  • green chillies - slit, 6
  • turmeric powder - 2 tsp
  • salt as per your taste
  • Fried groundnuts - a few (optional)

How to make Crunchy Poha

  1. Take a kadai. Add oil. Splutter mustard, jeera, coriander seeds, curry leaves and slit green chillies. Saute till crisp.
  2. Add salt and turmeric powder. Saute.
  3. Add poha and fry on a low flame till crisp.
  4. Once done, turn off the flame and garnish with groundnuts, sugar and grated coconut as per your choice.

My Tip:

Please make sure that the flame is set to low. This poha can be stored for 15-20 days in an airtight container. Add grated coconut only while serving.
