Ingredients to make Kesari Phirni

  • Samak ke rice- ½ cup
  • Full cream milk- 1 litre
  • saffron- 1 tbs or few strands
  • sugar- as per taste
  • rose petals- for garnish

How to make Kesari Phirni

  1. Soak rice in water for about an hour and coarsely grind Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan , add rice paste and keep stirring
  2. Cook on medium heat till the mixture start thickening. Add saffron , sugar , and remove from heat. Serve chilled.
