  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 3-4 Tblspn Strawberry flavour Custard powder
  • Few pineapple pieces fresh
  • Any Chocolate Syrup, I used Hersheys
  • Strawberry jam swiss roll cake, any of choice
  • Few wooden skewers for pineapples

How to make Custard choco trifle

  1. Take out 1 cup of milk before boiling.
  2. Now put milk on boil.
  3. Add sugar to the boiling milk stir well
  4. Now stir in the custard powder mixed in the cold milk kept aside well.
  5. Add this custard, mix to milk slowly stirring continuously to avoid lumps making normal custard.
  6. Cook custard on slow and keep flowy consistency.
  7. Remove cool and refrigerate.
  8. Cut slices of Jam roll ready 5-6 bowls to place these.
  9. To serve keep ready skews pineapple and cold chocolate syrup.
  10. Pour custard on the swiss roll slices.
  11. Skew the pineapple slices on to wooden skews.
  12. Pin the pineapple skews on to the cake slice below the custard softly.
  13. Now take the chocolate Syrup in a pouring cup and slowly pour on the pineapple slices to cover as much.
  14. Leave it to drop in to the custard to add mixed flavour.

My Tip:

Thicker the chocolate syrup the better, for it sticks to pineapple slice and also drops slowly.
