Ingredients to make Choco Honey Pots

  • For chocolate pot : Dark chocolate - 2 cups
  • White chocolate - 1 cup (to dip edges of the pot)
  • Some balloons to give shape of a pot
  • Choco-honey mousse:
  • Whipping cream - 2 and 1/2 cup
  • White chocolate - 1 cup
  • honey - 5 tbsp
  • Some chocolate wafer and honey to garnish on top.

How to make Choco Honey Pots

  1. For the pot - Melt the dark chocolate on a double boiler or microwave until it melts.
  2. Let it cool for 10 minutes stirring continuously.
  3. Place a butter paper on a tray.
  4. Blow a balloon and dip it in the chocolate liquid. And keep it on the tray with butter paper.
  5. Keep it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
  6. Again dip it in the chocolate liquid and keep it in the fridge.
  7. After it is set, deflate the balloon. The choco pot will be ready.
  8. Melt the white chocolate similary.
  9. Put the dark choco pot upside down in white chocolate so that its edges get coated well.
  10. Keep in the fridge and make the mousse then.
  11. For the mousse - stir 3/4 th of cream, white chocolate and honey in a heavy saucepan on low heat until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.
  12. Let it cool down while stirring.
  13. Whisk the remaining cream until soft peaks are formed.
  14. Fold it with the chocolate mixture.
  15. Put the mousse in the piping bag and fill the chocolate pot with the chocolate honey mousse.
  16. Refrigerate it for 2 hours.
  17. The choco honey pots are ready to enjoy.
  18. Garnish it with some choco wafer and pour some honey on the top.

My Tip:

The chocolate liquid should not be too hot when adding the balloon.
