Ingredients to make Apple Ragi Porridge for Toddlers (9 months +)

  • 3 to 4 tbsp Ragi flour
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 medium apple
  • ghee few drops
  • sugar (optional)

How to make Apple Ragi Porridge for Toddlers (9 months +)

  1. Wash and peel the skin of the apple. Core and chop to pieces and add them to a blender and puree. You can blend it coarsely for toddlers. Set this aside.
  2. Stir in 1 cup of water with flour in a pan and cook on a low to medium flame until the mixture thickens. Switch off the stove. Keep the pot covered for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the apple puree, ghee and sugar if using. Stir to mix well/

My Tip:

For baby under 1 year, sugar can be avoided. Try to use organic products. Consult your doctor before introducing new foods to your baby.
