Ingredients to make pheni cake

  • 500gm phenies
  • 100gm mava(khoya)
  • 12cup of milk
  • orange food color
  • rose essence few drops
  • cardamom essence few drops
  • pistachios and almonds for garnish
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 cup of water
  • salted butter 50gm

How to make pheni cake

  1. In a pan add khoya and milk together
  2. cook on medium flame till dry
  3. In a bowl crush phenies and add melted butter and orange food color and mix well
  4. grease a baking pan and spread some orange food color on it
  5. put half of the pheni mixture in a baking pan and press it well
  6. evenly spread khoya on the phenie mixture and add remaining pheni mixture on it ,press it well
  7. bake for 20 mins in 180 degree preheated oven
  8. In a pan add sugar and water and cook till boil,add Rose essence and cardamom essence in it
  9. Now pour the syrup on baked phenies
  10. garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds
  11. sweet yummy dessert is ready for serve

My Tip:

Do not over bake the phenies
