Strawberry Phirni

Ingredients to make Strawberry Phirni

  • Boiled milk - 450ml
  • Sweetened condensed milk - 1/2 small tin
  • Rice flour - 3 tbsp
  • cardamom powder - 1tsp
  • Hershey's strawberry syrup - 2 tbsp
  • almonds - 6-7
  • salt - a very small pinch

How to make Strawberry Phirni

  1. Add milk and rice flour, stir and make sure there aren't any lumps .
  2. Heat together and keep stirring, making sure the mixture doesn't stick to the bottom of the vessel.
  3. Bring it to a boil. This should take around 5-7 minutes.
  4. Then add the condensed milk, cardamom powder, strawberry syrup and some of the almonds, chopped up really fine. Add a very small pinch of salt to it at this stage.
  5. Remove from heat, let it cool and set it in a refrigerator for an hour or two.
  6. Garnish with some of the almond shavings and serve chilled.

My Tip:

You can totally experiment with any flavor that you like instead of the strawberry syrup.
