#Rice phirni

Ingredients to make #Rice phirni

  • Milk 1 ltr
  • rice 1/4th cup
  • sugar 3/4th cup
  • Chopped almonds 7-8
  • kewra essence 1/2 tesp

How to make #Rice phirni

  1. Wash rice and soak for 3 -4 minute.
  2. Pat dry using clean cloth and grind coarsely. ( thick semolina texture)
  3. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan. Add coarsely ground rice. Cook on sim for about 20 minutes till milk starts getting creamy. Keep stiring occasionally to prevent sticking at bottom.
  4. Add sugar. Cook for more 10 minutes till it gets thick . Keep stirring.
  5. Switch off flame. Mix kewra essence.
  6. Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with chopped almonds.
  7. Serve chilled.
  8. Happy cooking!

My Tip:

Keep attention to prevent from sticking at bottom.
