How to make Aloo ki Katori Chaat

  1. Peel the skin off the potatoes and grate them. Then mix a little cornflour in it and add a little salt.
  2. Put this mixture in a tea strainer and press it with another strainer, then deep fry it in hot oil. Fry this mixture until the potato becomes crisp and leaves the sides of the strainer. Once the potatoes become crisp, take them out on an absorbing paper to remove the excess oil.
  3. Now in a bowl, add in sprouts, chopped capsicum, chopped onion, chopped chillies, chopped cucumber, sev and roasted cumin seeds. Mix well and add in the chaat masala powder, kashmiri chilli powder, salt, lemon juice and chopped coriander. Mix it again.
  4. Now fill this mixture into the deep fried potato katori.
  5. Then arrange them on a platter and serve it with mint chutney.
