ABOUT Sweet Corn Veg Soup RECIPE

A Chinese style sweet corn veg soup that is a perfect comfort food during the winter and rainy season. It's a healthy soup that is good for kids as well as elders.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Frozen corn - 1 full cup
  2. corn - 1 tbsp
  3. Peas, carrot and Beans 1/2 cup
  4. Salt and pepper to taste
  5. corn starch 1 tbsp
  6. vinegar 1/2 tsp
  7. Spring onions 2 strings
  8. Macaroni pasta 1/4 cup (optional)
  9. water as required


  1. In a pan or sauce pan, add all the veggies mentioned above with required water. Allow it to boil in a high flame for 10 mins.
  2. While it's boiling, take a small mixer jar, add in 1 tbsp of corn, then add in 1 tbsp of water and grind them together to form a paste. Now add this paste to the boiling veggies and mix it well together.
  3. Add salt as per taste and mix it well.
  4. Cover with a lid and let this boil for another 10 mins on a medium flame. (If you want, you can add some macaroni here.)
  5. Let allow to cook for sometimes .
  6. Add in the corn starch next with some water. Then add some pepper as per taste. Let it boil for another 5 minutes.
  7. Add finely chopped spring onions to garnish and serve it hot.
