Dates Cookies

Ingredients to make Dates Cookies

  • 6 marie biscuits
  • 250 gm soft and seedless dates
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp drinking chocolate powder
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ghee for greasing

How to make Dates Cookies

  1. Take a bowl, add in the cocoa, drinking chocolate powder, butter, vanilla essence, dates and mash it very well.
  2. Now make 8 puris from the dates mixture. Place 1 biscuit on 1 puri, then place 2 biscuits. Once again place the dates puri, make 3 layers of biscuits and 4 layers of dates puri.
  3. Grease your hands with ghee and cover the biscuits with the dates mixture. Give it a smooth and shiny look. Make another piece like the above process.
  4. Wrap it in a cling film and keep it in the fridge for 30 mins. Cut it into 8 pieces.

My Tip:

Microwave the date mixture on a high heat for 1 minute and it will be more soft and easy to mash.
