ABOUT Mayonnaise Pasta RECIPE

A creamy mayo pasta that is very delicious. Mayonnaise Pasta, one of the most popular recipe, nowadays is going viral all over the world. Not only do restaurants display it in their menus but a lot homemakers as well are getting used to its various recipes. Pasta can also used for a lot of dishes like salads, main course, soups, starters etc. White Sauce, Pesto, Red Sauce, Mayonnaise are some variants that can be added to pasta to make it more flavorsome. Mayonnaise has its own smooth, creamy yet slight lemony taste which gives a different twist to pasta making it everyone’s favorite. Homemade Pasta in mayonnaise is a delicious creamy pasta recipe tossed in fresh vegetables. Kids simply love pasta and so do the adults. Mayonnaise pasta can be served on occasions like birthdays and kitty parties. Cheese can also be usedin the pasta for making it more delightful. To make it even more flavorful, garnish the pasta with some extra oregano seasoning and chili flakes. Pair this delicious and creamy pasta recipe with garlic bread slices.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pasta: 250 gm boiled
  2. Capsicum: 1 chopped
  3. Onion: 1 sliced
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Red chilli powder to taste
  6. Black pepper powder to taste
  7. Tomato ketchup: 4 tbsp
  8. Mayonnaise: 2 tbsp heaped
  9. Garlic: 2-3 cloves crushed
  10. Cabbage: 1 cup sliced thinly
  11. Oregano: 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl, heat enough water then add in the salt and bring it to boil.
  2. Once the water starts boiling, add in the pasta and cook for 10-11 mins.
  3. Then take it out in a strainer and drain the water, run cool water or normal tap water over the cooked pasta. Keep it aside.
  4. Heat little oil in a kadai, add in the crushed garlic and saute for a few mins. Then add in the onion and fry till it's translucent, now add in the capsicum and cabbage and fry for a minute. Next add in the salt and red chilli powder to it, mix it well.
  5. Add in the cooked pasta and mix it well, then add in the tomato ketchup and mix it well.
  6. Next add in the mayonnaise and mix it well. The pasta will turn creamy. (If needed add a little more mayonnaise.)
  7. Now add in the black pepper powder, oregano and mix it well.
  8. Take it out in a serving plate and pour a little bit of tomato ketchup on it.
  9. Serve it hot.
