Ingredients to make Noget Cake

  • For the Cake:
  • maida 3 cups
  • Condensed Milk 1 tin
  • Refined oil 1 cup
  • Sodium Bicarbonate 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon
  • Aerated drink (cola) 1/2 bottle
  • For the nogets:
  • sugar 1 cup
  • almonds 1 cup
  • Dairy milk chocolate 2 medium bars
  • For the icing:
  • cream 300 gram
  • Ground sugar 3 tbsp or according to your taste

How to make Noget Cake

  1. Take the condensed milk and oil in a bowl, mix it well together. Add in the cola, maida, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla essence. Mix it well and check the consistency of the batter.
  2. Add some milk if needed, beat the batter until it's fluffy. Then pour this batter in the greased baking dish, now place it in a preheated oven, it will take about 30-40 minutes to get baked.
  3. Once baked, put a clean knife into the cake, if it comes out clean, then the cake is ready. Let it cool down.
  4. To make the nogets, take a heavy bottomed pan, put in 1 cup of sugar and heat it at a medium flame. Stir it constantly.
  5. When sugar melts put the almonds in it, mix well and turn off the flame. Put it in the greased plate and let it cool down. Once it does, let it cool and crush it coarsely.
  6. Cut the chocolate in very small pieces, add in the noget and keep it aside.
  7. To prepare the icing on the cake, mix the cream and sugar together, beat it well.
  8. To cut the cake horizontally in two or three layers, spread the cream on a lower piece of cake evenly, then sprinkle some nogets on it. Put the 2nd piece on it, If you cut the cake in three rings, repeat this process, then put the top ring.
  9. Cover it all over with cream, then cover the sides as well. Now sprinkle the nogets all over it and the sides as well.
  10. Keep the cake in the fridge to chill for a while. Then cut into slices and serve.

My Tip:

Bake this cake in the winter season preferably.
