Traditional gujrati snack with variation using wheat flour as a healthy option

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 1/2cup
  2. Suji1/2cup
  3. Dahi 1cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Haldi 1/4tsp
  6. Eno 1tsp
  7. Karipatta 1tbsp
  8. Harimirch
  9. Rayi
  10. oil 1tbsp
  11. Adrak lasan paste 1/2tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix flour suji dahi namak haldi adrak lasan paste in a bowl
  2. Rest for15-20:min
  3. Set the steamer on gas
  4. Add eno to the mix and pour in to a greesed plate
  5. Put plate in to steamer steam for 15 min
  6. Check if done turn of gas
  7. For tadka heat oil in a tadka pan add rayi karipatta harimirch and pour over dhokla
  8. Cut pieces and serve with chutney
