ABOUT Veg Biryani RECIPE

Vegetable biryani, I prepared the biryani for my son for his tiffin, and he loved it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Chopped vegetables( carrot, beans, cauliflower, green peas)
  3. Onion 1 large
  4. Green chillies
  5. Ginger. Garlic
  6. Coriander leaves
  7. Turmeric Powder
  8. Red chilli powder
  9. Shahi biryani masala
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Ghee / oil
  12. Cumin seeds

Instructions

  1. Grind geen chilli, ginger, garlic & coriander leaves and make a paste
  2. In a pressure cooker, add oil, cumin seeds, sliced onion and saute for a minute
  3. Next add, green chilli paste, turmeric powder, chiili powder, biryani masala & little salt
  4. After few minute add all chopped vegetables, mix well
  5. Add basmati rice, mix well & add salt, add 1cup water, cover the lid
  6. Switch off the flame after 2 whistles
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves
  8. Serve with papad or cucumber raita
