ABOUT Afghani Chicken Kebabs RECIPE

These are juicy succulent chicken kebabs that can be served as starters. The chicken thighs are cut into bite sized chunks and are marinated with yogurt, lemon juice and spices. Skew them and grill in an oven/grill pan/barbeque

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200 gms chicken breasts
  2. 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 1 tbsp gram flour/corn flour
  4. 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  5. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  6. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  7. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  8. 2 tbsp Oil
  9. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and oil. Add other ingredients as well and mix well.
  3. Marinate the chicken pieces with this mixture and refrigerate for a couple of hours. You can also keep it overnight.
  4. Skew the marinated chicken pieces and grill them in an oven/grill pan/barbeque.
  5. Serve hot with Mint Dip/Chutney.
