Aloo tikki is a great savory snack of North India. A very popular street food also.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For the tikki
  2. Boiled potato 4
  3. Green chillies 2
  4. Corn flour 1 1/2 tbsp
  5. Bread crumbs 2 tbsp
  6. Oil 1or 2 tsp
  7. Salt
  8. Coriander leaves
  9. For topping while serving
  10. Hung curd
  11. Coriander chutney
  12. Sweet Tamarind Chutney
  13. Jeera powder 1/4 tsp
  14. Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  15. Sev


  1. Mash potatoes. Add all other ingredients for tikki.
  2. Heat oil. Take a ball from the dough, flatten it and deep fry. Fry all tikkis.
  3. When serving, put curd 1 tbsp, then tamarind and coriander chutneys on each tikki. Sprinke jeera powder and chilli powder. Then put sev on top of all tikkis.
