Italian Picnic Salad

Ingredients to make Italian Picnic Salad

  • 1 yellow bell pepper (medium sized)
  • 1 green bell pepper (medium sized)
  • 1 tomato (medium sized)
  • 1 boiled potatoe (medium sized)
  • 1 cucumber (small sized)
  • 1 green apple (medium sized)
  • 1 onion (Medium sized)
  • 2 tablespoon chopped cabbage
  • 1 stem spring onion (Or just a bit of it)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ( or taste)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • 4-5 parsley chopped
  • coriander leaves for garnish

How to make Italian Picnic Salad

  1. Cut all the vegetables into small square pieces .
  2. Heat up a pan. Drop 1 tablespoon olive spoon. Fry the yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion and garlic. This step is necessary to remove the raw smell of he vegetables.
  3. Mix the spring onion, then fry the mixture for a minute .
  4. Take a big bowl for all the chopped vegetables and pour fried yellow bell pepper, green bell pepper, onion, garlic, spring onion and the other chopped vegetables too. Mix them well .
  5. Add the black pepper, basil leaves, salt, 1 tablespoon olive oil, chopped parsley leaves. Mix it well again.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves. Now our tasty, colorful, picnic salad is ready to serve.

My Tip:

Mix it well so that the taste is spread equally amongst all the choppped vegetables.
