Ingredients to make Vegan puff

  • For dough
  • Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  • all purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • water for kneading
  • For stuffing
  • Green bell pepper chopped 1/4 cup.
  • Red bell pepper chopped 1/4 cup
  • Yellow bell pepper chopped 1/4 cup
  • Sweet corn kernels 1/4 cup
  • carrots chopped 1/4 cup
  • green chillies 1 tsp
  • tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup
  • Pizza seasoning 2 tsp
  • Fresh Black pepper ground 1 tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Vegan puff

  1. Mix wheat flour and all purpose flour in a bowl with salt and oil.
  2. Knead a dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Now make the stuffing.
  4. Mix all the vegetables in a bowl.
  5. Mix together tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, pizza seasoning, black pepper and green chillies. Mix well. Stuffing is ready.
  6. To prepare puffs divide the dough in small ball size portion.
  7. Roll it into a thin roundel.
  8. Now with pizza cutter or knife cut the sides to form a rectangular sheet.
  9. Now take small amount of stuffing and place it on one side of the sheet.
  10. Fold it to form a puff shape.
  11. Prick all the sides of puff with a fork.
  12. It will look as shown in the picture.
  13. Deep fry in hot oil.
  14. Crispy vegan puffs are ready to be served hot.
