Ingredients to make Green Peas Kachori

  • Ingredients for dough
  • wheat flour 2 cup
  • maida 2 cup
  • jeera 1 tbs
  • salt 1/2 tbs
  • oil 2 tbs
  • Ajowan or carom seeds 1 tbs
  • water for kneading dough
  • Ingredients for fillilng
  • Green peas washed 4 cup
  • Fine chopped Coriender 1/2 cup
  • Fine chopped green chilli 3-4
  • jeera 1 tbs
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tbs
  • salt 1 tbs or as per taste
  • Olive oil or any oil 1 cup
  • asafoetida pinch
  • Home made garam masala 1 tbs

How to make Green Peas Kachori

  1. Take maida , wheat flour, jeera, salt, ajwain (carom seeds)and oil in big bowl to knead dough . Kept it aside for 20 mints.
  2. For filling take all ingredients ( green peas , chilli, coriander, jeera, salt, turmeric powder, home made garam masala ) mix them well and fine grind it. Take a pan , pour some oil and heat it at medium flame. Saute or shallow pan fry it. Your mixture is ready.
  3. Make small even rolls of dough. Flatten the rolls like medium thick puri . Pour above peas material inside it till the end. Close the puri . It is ready to fry.
  4. Deep fry these tastiest kachiries . Serv hot with tangy tomato sauce.
  5. Garnish plate with coriander and tomato sauce .

My Tip:

You can change shape of kachoris. Use different material inside as per taste.
