Crispy Lollipops

Ingredients to make Crispy Lollipops

  • Boiled potatoes 3 medium sized
  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • Chopped onion 1
  • chilli garlic n ginger paste 2tsp
  • Grated cheese 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbs
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • sugar to taste
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Drained poha 1 cup ( soak into the water the drain )
  • For slurry -
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • maida 1/2 cup
  • water as required
  • salt Pinch
  • oil for deepfry
  • Ice cream sticks 12
  • For coating -
  • Corn flour 1/2 ( before slurry)
  • Bread crumbs 1 bowl
  • Ketchup for serving

How to make Crispy Lollipops

  1. First, take a bowl add 1/2 cup corn flour and 1/2 cup maida add salt and water and make a slurry
  2. Take a boiled potatoes and grate them.
  3. Now in another bowl add grated potatoes, drained poha, Chopped capsicum, Chopped onion, chilli garlic and ginger paste.
  4. Add sugar, salt, lemon juice and balance their tastes
  5. Add garam masala coriander leaves, grated cheese and mix together.
  6. Now make lemon size balls from the mixture and give the shape of lollipops.
  7. Now take a ice cream stick and insert the stick between the lollipops
  8. Now roll all lollipops in the dry cornflour.
  9. Then dip each lollipop into the slurry.
  10. Again coat the balls into the bread crumbs.
  11. Now deep fry all the lollipops till the golden brown.
  12. Now serve it with ketchup
