This is my dear grandma's recipe. Healthy pancakes for kids. High in nutrition.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. oil
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  4. Grated jaggery - 1/2 cup
  5. Ragi - 1 cup
  6. Deseeded dates - 10-12

Instructions

  1. Soak ragi for 4 hours.
  2. Soak dates in water one hour before grinding.
  3. Blend all the ingredients together. Add very little water while grinding. The batter should be thick.
  4. Heat a pan. Drizzle a few drops of oil and pour a ladle full of batter. Let the batter spread by itself. Just level it and close the lid.
  5. Flip on the other side and serve hot with a dollop of butter.

Instead of soaking ragi can we use ragi flour?
