Pineapple Cake

Ingredients to make Pineapple Cake

  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 100 gm Organic maida
  • 50 gm butter at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence/extract ( Pls avoid pineapple essence as it comes out too strong )
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Canned pineapple slices and syrup ( Use any established Brand )
  • 4-5 Glazed cherries to garnish
  • 200 gm Non-diary Whipped cream

How to make Pineapple Cake

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
  2. Grease and line a 5/6 inches cake tin
  3. In a big bowl, add the Condensed milk, butter .
  4. Whisk gently till it comes together
  5. Sieve the maida 3 times along with the baking powder and baking soda.
  6. Add the maida mix to the Condensed milk and butter mixture.
  7. Whisk gently till it is all incorporated.
  8. Add the vanilla essence and vinger.
  9. Whisk well 5-6 times,but very gently .
  10. Pour in the tin and bake for 25-30 minutes till done.
  11. Remove from the oven.
  12. Cool the tin for 10 minutes and demould the cake.
  13. Cut the cake horizontally in 2 or 3 layers.
  14. Apply the pineapple syrup on the inside layers.
  15. Arrange the bottom layer on a serving plate.
  16. Apply the whipped cream and put in a few pineapple tid-bits all over this layer.
  17. Place another cake layer and repeat.
  18. Lastly, place the top layer and apply the cream on the top and sides.
  19. Garnish with the pineapple pieces and few glazed cherries.
  20. Decorate the cake as per your wish.
  21. Keep in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set well.
  22. Serve either chilled or at room temperature, as per personal preference
