A wonderful refreshing drink, perfect thirst quencher and a healthy natural fruity option for kids.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cantaloupe
  2. 1/2 watermelon
  3. 2 tsp rose syrup
  4. Juice of 1 or 2 limes (or lemons)
  5. 6-7 tsp sugar
  6. 1/2 cup water
  7. Few saffron strands
  8. Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Blend cantaloupe with water to smooth puree.
  2. Heat a pan and pour the syrup in it. Simmer on low heat till it thickens. Keep stirring at intervals. Add lemon juice. Simmer for additional 5 minutes. Switch off gas and add saffron strands. Cool thoroughly.
  3. Blend watermelon with rose syrup till smooth puree.
  4. Pour the cantaloupe halfway in a tall glass. Top it with watermelon puree.
  5. Add ice cubes and serve chilled.
