Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 kg milk
  2. 2 Carrots
  3. 8 to 10 pieces of dates
  4. 1 small Apple
  5. 1 tablespoon sugar
  6. 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  7. 5 to 6 soaked skinned and chopped almonds


  1. Grate and steam carrots or microwave them for 3 minutes
  2. Let the milk boil
  3. Add carrots and let it simmer
  4. Wash deseed and chop dates
  5. Put in the milk let them cook till the mixture thickens or reduces to half
  6. Add sugar along with cardmom powder
  7. Cook the milk five minutes more till sugar dissolves
  8. Turn off the heat
  9. Let it cool completely
  10. Keep it in fridge
  11. Peel and grate apple
  12. At the time of serving take it out add grated apples and mix well
  13. Garnish with almonds
  14. Keep in the fridge and serve cold
