Ingredients to make Soya Chunks Capsicum Fry

  • Soya chunks 1/2 cup
  • capsicum -2 (cut into cubes)
  • onion -1 (chopped)
  • jeera powder 1/4tsp
  • coriander powder 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • Kitchen king masala 1/4 tsp
  • saunf 1/4 tsp
  • besan 2 tbsps

How to make Soya Chunks Capsicum Fry

  1. Heat a vessel with water, add a little salt and boil soya chunks for 5 mins. Cover and keep aside.
  2. While the soya is boiling, chop onion and 2 large capsicum . Heat a kadai and roast besan on low frame till aroma comes. Keep aside.
  3. In same pan, heat oil and add saunf. Let it splitter then add onion and next add capsicum cubes. Stir in medium high for 2 mins and reduce the flame.
  4. Now add all dry masalas one by one. Adjust salt and spices according to your taste.
  5. Fry on low heat for 2 more mins. Now add soya chunks. Do not squeeze water out of them. This water helps the capsicum to cook. Stir everything once, cover and cook on low flame for 4 mins or till done.
  6. Lastly, add the roasted besan powder stir everything, and fry for one more minute. Garnish with chopped coriander.
