ABOUT Greek salad RECIPE

Salads with the right ingredients are always healthy and an important part of our meal. It is always advised to have salad in your meal for the neccessary fibres and nutrients. Greek salad is one of my favourites because it is versatile and very refreshing !

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 large tomatoes
  2. 1 cucumber
  3. 1 Onion
  4. 1 Green Bell pepper
  5. 2 tbsp chopped Mint leaves
  6. 1 lemon juiced
  7. 1 tbsp black Olives
  8. 1/4 cup Cottage cheese(paneer) diced
  9. 1 tbsp Olive oil
  10. 1 tsp Oregano
  11. Salt according to taste
  12. Black pepper according to taste


  1. Dice the tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper. Thinly slice the onions. Finely chop the mint leaves.
  2. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, onion, mint leaves, olives and cottage cheese
  3. For the salad dressing, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, black pepper and salt.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad, toss and serve.
