Green Tea Cake

Ingredients to make Green Tea Cake

  • eggs 2
  • maida 100 gms
  • sugar 90 gms
  • butter 100 gms
  • Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  • Vanilla essence Few drops
  • Matcha/ green tea powder 1 tsp

How to make Green Tea Cake

  1. Beat butter and sugar till fluffy
  2. Add lightly beaten eggs one at a time Seive together baking powder and flour Fold in the flour.
  3. Add about 1 tbsp warm water with the matcha powder Now in a separate bowl take some batter and add the matcha mix.
  4. This is the green part. Gently spoon the batter into the greased pan, swirl gently the green matcha batter. Bake for about 35 min till done.
