Ingredients to make Pudina Chaas

  • yogurt 1 1/2 cups
  • Fresh mint leaves torn4 tablespoons
  • Green chilli 1
  • ginger peeled1 inch piece
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  • Dry mint leaves crushed1 teaspoon
  • Ice cubes crushed as required

How to make Pudina Chaas

  1. Grind fresh mint leaves, green chilli, ginger and sea salt together to a coarse paste in a mortar with a pestle.
  2. Blend this paste with yogurt, adding roasted cumin powder and four cups of water.
  3. Pour the chaas equally in four glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
