Ingredients to make Eggless almonds cookies

  • Maida [all purpose flour] 1 cup
  • Suji [semolina] 2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 2 drops
  • butter 2 tble
  • sugar 1 cup
  • milk half cup
  • Amonds powder half cup
  • almonds for decoration 2-6

How to make Eggless almonds cookies

  1. Preheat oven at 180 C exactly 15 mins before baking. Grease baking tray with butter Or olive oil. Sift flour, baking powder,suji , almond powder .
  2. Add vanilla essence. Combine all the dry ingredients nicely. Firstly cream butter with sugar until soft and fluffy. Preferably use electric beater I used my hand to beat. Add milk and beat again.
  3. Gradually fold in the flour with the help of spatula into three batches. It should look like this. Chill the dough for 15-20 mins or leave aside to rest for some time. I dont have a pic for this one. Make small balls and place them at a distant with each other on the greased dish / tray.
  4. Rub some oil or butter towards the bottom of the glass. You could use a proper glass I have used a metal glass as got hold of that while making these .
  5. Press the bottom over the balls gently pressing them to round. Make criss-cross pattern with toothpick or fork. You could just leave them plain round instead of designing.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 14 mins or until light brown towards the edges. Allow to cool down. Once at room temperature then store them in air tight container. Serve your egg less vanilla cookies
